Credenza

The Scandinavian furniture of the 1950’s inspires the details of this cabinet. Its teak pulls tuck into recesses on the doors and drawers. The doors are unique in that they have two panels, each which are centered in the doorframes with exposed splines. This makes the doors very strong and stable and provides shadow lines to break up the large surfaces.

The cabinet is veneered in white oak on the exterior and maple in the interior. All of the veneer is cut in the shop to control grain patterns and quality.

The shelves are adjustable and rest on hand carved pegs. The drawers slide smoothly oak runners.
